The Lakeland Police Department is attempting to identify the suspect in a shooting that
occurred on December 6, 2009, at 200 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, in Lakeland.
The victim, Andrew Tuccinardi, age 18, was walking around Lake Hollingworth on the exercise path just after midnight when the suspect pulled up in a small sedan and asked Tuccinardi for directions. As Tuccinardi stepped up to the vehicle, the driver (and sole occupant) shot the victim and fled the scene.
Attached is a composite sketch of the suspect. The suspect is further described as a fair skinned white male, 18 to 21 years of age, clean shaven with a military type “”buzz” haircut.
Police are asking the public to assist in identifying this suspect. Any information should be reported to the Lakeland Police Department, 863-834-6900, or Crime Stoppers, 1-800-226-8477.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $6,000.00 reward for information that leads to the arrest of this suspect.
This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
